As a qualified teacher and choreographer in various dance styles, and with more than 20 years’ experience I started my training with Andre Calitz, where I was introduced to the authentic Hip hop style and culture that was highlighted in his development program.
The more training and exposure I received, my knowledge of the hip hop style became more and more familiar with the foundations and building blocks of this culture.
I started implementing and teaching this program to my own students, and within a short period of time a noticeable improvement in all students was evident. Not only in the style but also in their knowledge of the vocabulary and history.
